Annual leave is also a provision of the labour laws. Are you one of those employees who rarely take substantial leave? Do you let our days accumulate either leading to being compensated (not a commendable practice), or you are those employee the longest they can be away is three days. If so, you need to rethink how you apportion rest in your life. Remember the human body require rest to grow, repair and rejuvenate. Not resting adequately leads to stress, a perquisite of burn out. Consequently, your whole health, mental, physical, social, spiritual suffer.
After all, even in the bible, God rested on the 7th day, why not you.
